DoroNivinity Home Care LLC was established April 2025, in the loving memory of our dear mother, Dorothy Lee Nivens and in honor of our father, Coit Nivens whose life revolved around taking care of mama and keeping her at home.

Taking care of a loved one is a difficult and life-changing experience. Having a mother with dementia, we helplessly watched the gradual loss of her memory, language and thinking abilities. Although we wanted our mother to remain in the comfort of her home, it became challenging to provide the support and care she needed. It was then that we realized we needed help.

Experiencing the immediate need for in-home care assistance for a loved one, day after day became a part of who we were. It was clear that the outside support and services we received were crucial in allowing our Mother to remain at home. This led us to open a home care agency of our own. It is our top priority that your loved one is properly cared for with dignity and respect.

We lost our mother to dementia on November 28, 2023, but the love and memories live on.
